Children

Children are more likely to catch the flu and also to spread it. With their young bodies not yet exposed to many of the viruses, they lack the prior immunity to fight off the flu. They can get a very high fever, painful ear infection, bronchitis, pneumonia and other complications if they do catch the flu.

Flu immunisation gives children the vital flu protection their young bodies lack. Not only is it vital for ensuring they avoid the flu, but also for preventing them from spreading the virus to those around them.
