Asthmatics

Influenza is dangerous for asthma patients. With their immune systems already weakened, they’re more likely to experience severe complications. If that wasn’t enough, the influenza virus is also an asthma trigger. It may lead to coughing and wheezing or, worse still, an asthma attack and a trip to hospital.

Flu immunisation can help people with asthma stay well and free of their symptoms. It not only prevents influenza infection but also stops severe asthma attacks being triggered.
